Project Description  :

Provide necessary labor and equipment to cut and remove concrete debris from approximately 500 square meters on the BDSC airfield to the depth of the bottom of the current concrete slab. All concrete removed shall be marked with orange paint.

Provide necessary labor and equipment to cut and remove concrete debris from approximately 146.32sqm of existing airfield ramp areas, and 1907sqm areas that requires new concrete installation for the Cargo Yard. Additionally, the drain area in front of HAS 4 shall be routed to drain to the retention pond via underground culvert piping.

Once the concrete has been removed then the exposed grade level will be back-filled and compacted to ensure that a firm foundation has been created

Remove all existing concrete debris from the Ramp project, and it shall be transported from the Compound for proper disposal.

# 8 (25mm) rebar is to be drilled and doweled into the surrounding concrete every 12 inches in order that the new concrete creates a uniform and unbroken surface with the surrounding area. Felt joint material, ½ inch thick, is to be installed between the existing (old) concrete and the new poured concrete to the full depth of the new concrete.

In the areas that will receive new concrete, a # 8 rebar mat will be installed 1 foot on center. Rebar is to be tied at all intersections and the rebar mat is to be maintained 2 inches from the subgrade using rebar chairs.
