With 40 years’ experience in high profile engineering projects worldwide. Hider has managed large networks of multi-disciplinary subsidiaries over a 20 year period in the Middle East.
Since 2003 he has established Fromewill Ltd as one of the largest construction companies in Iraq from the ground up, successfully completing projects worth hundreds of millions of dollars throughout Iraq.
Hider continues to demonstrate a strong ability to work within a unique, high pressure and hostile environment dealing with a multitude of stakeholders.
Hider has operational experience over a workforce of 3000 employees across 20 countries, spanning 3 continents.
His abilities extend from managing a highly skilled workforce in advanced development and production, to unskilled labourers in the harshest and most rudimentary environments.
Holding an MSc degree from the University of London, Hider Al Touqmatchi is a Chartered Engineer with 4 decades of experience.
Salam Al Touqmatchi
General Manager
Over 15 years’ experience in the Middle East region with an extensive knowledge of logistical and operational aspects across varying business sectors.
Responsible for running the project management office for several landmark construction projects across Iraq. Directly involved in the tendering and proposal process, winning and successfully executing over 60 projects worth over $300 million throughout Iraq.
Throughout the past 15 years, has organised and managed extremely challenging delivery logistics of constructions supplies to project sites in Iraq, including machinery as well as raw materials.
Extensive general management experience across different business areas throughout his career.
Holds a BSc in Computer Science from Queen Mary’s, University of London.
Mohammed Abdul Rahman
Projects Director
30 years of on the ground experience in construction projects throughout Iraq.
Prior to joining Fromewill Ltd. Mohammed has held several management positions throughout key institutions in Iraq, The College of Military Engineering, The Ministry of Construction and Housing and the General Authority for Roads and Bridges.
Mohammed’s portfolio includes the construction of administration buildings in Baghdad, road maintenance projects throughout Iraq, the establishment of residential and service complexes for the US corps of Engineers in multiple airbases and high security areas, as well as the construction of schools and residential compounds.
Mohammed has successfully delivered numerous complex design-and-build and, build only developments including high specification works with significant sustainability and environmental targets.
Mohammed holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Building and Construction from the University of Technology, Baghdad.
Ala’a Al Yassari
Financial Controller
Ala’a is responsible for the financial and accounting operations of the business. His role includes providing high level financial reporting and analysis, cash flow management, budget consolidation as well as developing financial strategy and improving efficiency and reducing cost across the business.
Prior to joining Fromewill Ltd he has had a long spanning career, having held the role of Senior Accountant at the Ministry of Industry and Minerals for over 10 years as well as having held management roles across varied private sector businesses in contracting, commerce, industrial and residential.
Ala’a has 20 years of experience in providing tax consulting services to various foreign and private companies in Iraq.
Ala’a has been an active member of the Iraqi accountants and Auditors association since 1985 and regularly hosts talks and training seminars across Iraq.
Holds a BA in Management and Economics from Baghdad University.
Ehsan Hashem
Logistics & Security Manager
Prior to joining Fromewill Ltd, Ehsan served as part of security teams for the Iraqi and US armed forces in Iraq. Planning and providing logistics and personal security detail for escorting VIPs to various sensitive locations in Iraq as well as providing and organising security for construction projects within the military airbases.
Since joining Fromewill Ltd. Ehsan has developed and implemented standard operating procedures to enable effective implementation of logistics plans. Coordinated logistics activities related to procurement, distribution, and transportation of goods and staff. Liaising with operations, security, and finance teams to effectively manage operations logistics.
Ehsan’s role is to also assess and monitor security situations on an ongoing basis.
Ehsan holds a BSc in Agriculture from the University of Baghdad.
